Hi everyone and thank you for your replies!

Well we went on a short 10 minute walk yesterday and to see the happiness in his face just to be out of the house was amazing.

He has been off his pain meds for about 5 days now, no signs of pain he lays on his stump so that must mean it doesn't hurt right?

Also sorry to hear about Rosie! Hope she does well with chemo.

My husband comes home from camp today so hopefully seeing him will make Shorty a little more happier. I think he gets bord of me and constant love lol.

Hey that sounds like really great progress! Typically laying on the stump side means that they're comfortable with their new bodies, so that's an excellent sign that Shorty is feeling good. I'll bet that he will be even hoppier when his pack is all together. Is your hubby in the military? If so tell him we said "Thanks for your service, sir!"

Sounds like Shorty's doing well. So great to see them happy again post surgery! I bet Shorty will be super excited to see your husband!

All the best,

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
