If nothing else, I'm now quick to push record on the phone camera, lol - learning to enjoy every good day that comes for Sebastian and his sister Mojo. Here's Sebastian, now 3 weeks post-op. Love the look in his eyes at the end.

Really like the Arlo cameras - so entertaining. Here's Sebastian and Mojo when someone comes home. Sebastian goes to get his toy first, lol.

Last weekend, Sebastian had a momentary (we hope) setback, so this week, we have forced them to stay in one room while we are gone to restrict movement. I was going through surveillance video and came across this snippet and thought it was cute/funny, from them knowing that someone was home and then especially at the end of the video.

OMD!!! SOOOOO ADORABLE!!!! This video, and the other one showing how happy Mojo and Sebastian are because their hoomans are coming home ....PRICELESS!! 🙂

It's a great remainder that, no matter how tired, or rushed, or pre-occupied we are when we come home agreeting like this deserves to be met with a greeting that equals in enthusiasm and joy!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 These videos just melt my heart!

I @ove seeing these "surveillance" clips!! These really are sacred treasures and true smile makers! 🙂

Thanks for the smiles!

We think he is okay.
Cliff notes - Saturday, one of the doors must not have clicked shut so when no one was watching, Sebastian snuck out and went on a little run (with Mojo tagging along). Luckily, one of the owners within the subdivision saw them and corralled them in and we came and got them. But not until we already realized they were missing and freaking out and canvassing the subdivision!

Sunday, he stayed inside all day on the couch and when we got home, he ate, went outside and when he came in, he was walking a little off and then had trouble sitting down. We freaked out, took him to the vet and when the vet walked in, we were describing what was wrong, and then we said, watch this and asked him to sit down. Which he then proceeded to do without any issue!  Then he walked closer to his tripawd normal than he just did at the house. I just sighed and said "well, this is the best emergency visit we could have hoped for" lol.

The vet gave him a once over and determined there didn't appear to be any structural damage (acl, hip dyplasia were two of our fears going in).

We are thinking he might have had some sore muscles from his excursion the previous day or maybe he tweaked something getting up after laying on the couch all day on Sunday.

Vet gave us some Gallprant to get him through next few days and we have scheduled a visit to the certified vet rehab this week.

Rarely a dull day!

Oh thank goodness! He probably did too much and more he's paying the price.  I'm so glad it was fairly simple.  You do know that the"doodle" half is an amazing intelligent creature... just sayin' smilesmiley House arrest and physical rest should do him fine.  I bet his counterpart is giving him raspberries when your back is turnedlaughing

The pups got their first dog bath since the surgery... we had to get a quick pic in before, you know, they go roll around in the backyard, lol.

I know I've shared a lot of indoor moments lately, but here's a special one that I took outdoors today - today marks Sebastian's 50 day mark!
