Wow just wow, I never realized how much MY allergies affected my dog. Quixote only got the fentayl patch and a liquid antibiotic because I am allergic to Cillins (Penecillin, Amoxicillin ect) I am allergic to Gabapentin I am allergic to this that and the other thing. So because I am the one to medicate the dogs we cant give what I am allergic to. I wonder if he would have been all the same meds???
She is beautiful, and you honestly wont notice once she is back up and running. I dont! Quixote is was given the go ahead to be a normal dog again, so we go and he runs and plays and is crazy. We dont notice the leg till he falls on it ( and he does), Amazingly you will get used to the looks of pity people give your dog! You wont get used to the questions, or the people telling you that you cant make your dog sit now or what your asking your dog to do is too much for a three legged dog.
What a lucky dog to have such a devoted pawrent to help her thru this.
Sadie is adorable!!
Quixote, I can say that I have never once had anyone say anything like that to us and I'm not sure how I would react if they did! It's no wonder I like dogs so much, some people are just complete idiots!

Thanks again for all the kind replies!
To answer Alison's question, yes, Sadie is a rear amp. It was her back left leg. She looks like a little pogo stick haha
She'll be getting her staples out on Sunday, and then she won't need her cone anymore. She's sure to be happy about that!
Does anyone know how long I need to wait until I can bathe her again? She's pretty stinky after her stay in the hospital, but she still has a lot of scabs that I don't want to interfere with...
