I have completed the new video (ahead of schedule) of Rusty Surfin' on three legs and uploaded it to You Tube. It is so wonderful to see him doing what he really loves; every morning after his walk he waits patiently for us to give him the okay to get into the pool.
I had planned on posting it on the 25th which will be Rusty's six month Ampuversary, but my wife said let's share it now. Rusty will be two on the 30th and we are planning a birthday pawty for him and the parents of his dog park buddies. He had his last high dosage of oral Chemo yesterday and other than sleeping, which is normal, has not had any side effects. Dr. Macy will begin a new six month Chemo therapy regimen in August which he hopes will improve Rusty's survival prognosis.

Rusty is a Labradoodle who was diagnosed with level 3 Fibrosarcoma on January 16th, 2010 and had his left hind leg amputated on January 25th, 2010 five days before his 18 month birthday. Please see Rusty's blog @rusty.tripawds.com. He is putting up one heck of a fight against this terrible disease.
Rusty this movie is PAWESOME! Love it!
OMG I loved seeing your tail wag at the end. Simply inspawarational.

"Going Dog" def: living every day in the moment
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."
