YAAAAAAAAAY FOR POOP ON THE CARPET!!! Prettiest thing ever!! HOPPY POOP DANCE!!!Ditto Jerry and Linda!
Yeah, acknowledge your feelings, move through them. Now is the time to focus on staying in tne moment and savoring every treasured second you and Pollyanna have!
For me, I remember how shocked I was at the amount of my Happy Hannah's fur they shaved! I didn't look at her incision very much at all. Removing that painful leg was such a positive thing. But the shaved area, that bugged me! Jist like our dogs, we all react differently.
Give that sweet girl an extra treat for us. You're doing a great job!! This recovery process is rough and you are handling it very well!
Hugs!

Hi sally and pooches
im looking for a liitle advice/ guidence again if you dont mind?
on the whole polly is doung so well and even im doin better hahaha
however her water intake and weeing have increased- shes doing 3 times her normal amount if wees! Prior to the surgery we knew she had kidney probkems and i guess im worried about her pain meds exacerbating her problems- i have searched online but answers about tramadol and paracetamol are really contradictory. We do have her booked in with her local vet tomoorw who i am sure will review but di you have knowledge re these meds on internal organs? Im now dreading hearing further bad news if her kidney oroblems have been made worse
with thanks and thoughts
emma x
Emma I have no idea what that could be but I'm sure your vet will. Try not to focus on the negative "what-ifs", just keep visualizing her being healthy and recovered and you'll get there! Let us know what the vet says.

Okay, first step, stay off naughty Dr. Google!
Second, even IF Pollyanna has some kidney issues and the pain meds are making them worse, withdrawal and some targeted treatment should take care of that.
Just the whole process plis the extra effort it takes for Pollyanna to get around right now could be making her thirstier.
Her overall attitude is good so try not to worry!
The vet will figure out IF there is an issje. IF so, he'll develop a treatment plan.
Thirdly, grab some CHOCOLATE and eat the whole bag! It he@ls!
Hugs!

Hello
we still havent got to the bottom of the weeing, the girl is like a tap! But, no pain no aggitation no irritability so thsts a positive. She starts oral chemotherapy tomorrow- one pill every three weeks and a blood test. As she's quite an oldie the treatment will be reduced in time so she will be treated for a few months and not for her lifetime. Things have got easier and i most certainly took the advice about the chocolate (about all food actually as i cant stop eating it seems!). Thankyou for all of your helpful advuce so far, it really has helped x
Thanks for updating! Other than the pee issue, it sounds like Pollyanna is doing very well 🙂
So all the work up the vet has done isn't showing any bladder or kidney issues, right? I would say being a "senior" could certainly be part of the answer. It's just weird though that it started all of the sudden after the amp.
Continue to savor the moment and enjoying just "bei g" with sweet Pollyanna AND takq lots of pictures!! We're still waiting for pictures of this cutie pie!!
You're doing a great job!
Sending hugs...and some more CHOCOLATE!
