Love Never Ends
Good Day for Piper!!!! Hooray!! Here's to a smooth and bumpless recovery. I'm sure she feels better not having that painful foot she'd been stepping on. I'm so happy for you and your family.
All the Best
Suzie and Rizzo
Jack Russell born in 2001. Mast cell cancer found Dec 2009 and right rear amputation. Five rounds of chemo done before all treatment stopped. Living life to the fullest!! Read my story at http://rizzo.tripawds.com
Oh no! I hope everyone is okay now! I hope everyone was just scared.
I'm glad to hear Piper is home. Let's hope for no more accidents!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Eesh! Hope Piper is ok! Best to take it easy, not only Piper but everyone around until he is up and trotting around again. Good luck!
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Yay for being home!
Don't worry about the spill, I guarantee there will be a few more, but keep in mind that it's worse for the human than the dog. Dogs get over things like this a lot faster.
Remember to breathe, this recovery phase will be over before you know it.

Hooray for Piper being home.
Bummer about the little mishap, but these things happen - sometimes the pups themselves get excited and overdo. But hang in there, it will be better/easier!
We're here if you have questionss!
Jackie, Angel Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Yea for being home, and pooping!!!
Accidents happen- tell your daughter that it is really important for her to set a good example for Piper! Things need to be calm and quiet while Piper heals, and if your daughter is quiet around him he will be calm too (maybe!). She is an important part of Piper's healing.
And tell her that last night my 12 year old pug Tani pushed my 6 year old pug Obie out of the truck before I could get help them out, and now Obie is limping a little. Even dogs get excited and have accidents!
