We just wanted first to say thank you to everyone who held our hands through our decision and the first 2 weeks (sleep is definitely NOT overrated!).
Next we just wanted to let everyone know that Pebbles is celebrating her 3 moth ampuversary tomorrow! She is doing really great. She is happy and she actually moves faster on 3 than she did on 4…
We celebrate every win. We celebrated when she figured out how to get up on her own, now we celebrate every day. She is 14 and has hip displaysia but we are still so happy with our decision.
The only thing she has trouble with is squatting when she pees… Thank god for the Ruff Wear Harness! She falls down sometimes, but that doesn't shake her either… She just gets back up.
She is a beautiful girl and we are just so excited that she is still with us! And we think she is too!
Thanks for providing such a warm and caring community.

Yipeeeeeeeee! Happy Ampuversary Pebbles, thank you for the update!
Just goes to show you that all of the scary stuff that happens during recovery will soon be a thing of the past. I'm so glad you're doing so well. Keep it up!

the monkeydogs only THINK they have invaded the tripawd state
Happy ampuversary, Pebbles. Sounds like you are really getting along great. Don't worry about that occasional fall, even after the longest time Trouble would still stumble or slide on her front paw and down she'd go. I always thought it embarrassed her, but there's no need for that. Everyone looses their footing now and then - hey, even mom!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
I feel a drum roll coming on…….

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Yippee keep those ampuversary's comin' !!!!
Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
Happy Ampuversary Pebbles! 3 Months - that's awesome! Love your red party hat . Here's wishing you many, many more ampuversaries and celebrations!
Kami, Angel Mackenzie and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
