Hi ALL
Been away for a little while but just wanted to let you know that Zak is very active now, has a few little balance issues, but he is certainly getting around like he used to!!! I would guess that he almost runs faster now than he did before!!!
He is more spoiled now than ever, as he gets to sleep with us now, and he gets plenty of cuddles and love.
Thankyou everyone for your kind thoughts and your help when we were going through our trying time with Zak.
Tony
Hey Tony, it's great to hear from you! That is wonderful news, and so good to hear that things are going well. Congrats on getting over such a huge hurdle.
Yep, Tripawds seem to run faster than before surgery, it's a balance thing. Good luck keeping up with him!
We are here if you need anything. Now go enjoy the day!

Hi Tony, Glad to hear Zak has finally gone #1 & #2. Our dog Chuy is a tripawd that just had FHO surgery on one of his back legs this week. We are on day 3 since the surgery and he still hasn't gone #2. He is eating well, so we're thinking it is the pain meds. Hopefully the vet will let us remove the Phentanyl patch and he'll go today.
It's amazing how resilient our little pups are. Not such big babies like we humans. I too am sleeping in the livingroom with Chuy. The first night, no sleep, last night we got about 6 hours total. Not bad for two days home. They recover so quickly!
Welcome to Tripawds! Great bunch here, with lots of helpful info and love to go around.

Chuy, showing everyone that Tripawds do everything 3 times better than regular dogs!
So glad Zak is doing so well. He is such a cutie. He looks like he enjoys life every day, and why not, what supportive pawrents he has.
