Hes such an inspiration! I thought i had saved him you know, but actually he saved me! I Love all my dogs to bits, and i am so proud of my little fluff ball. I knew this is really out of my comfort zone but he is taking it all in his stride! He is in fact showing me and teaching me what he needs and wants!
Today he walked the length of our lounge for the VERY first time without sitting down, on route, but instead stood so tall, wagging his tail the whole way! Clever little pup 🙂

Leo is the most adorable, amazing puppy ever! I can only imagine what a help he will be to people who have also lost a limb. I think once he's out of the clumsy puppy stage he will get around like a champ. You can see he's almost got it already in his videos. Bless you for all you will do and have already done for giving this special boy his place in the world. Leo puts a smile on my face as I'm sure he does to yours too.

Okay, you've got to start using the"CUTENESS ALERT" with Mr. Adorable! Soooooo cute! And that picture of him in his Santa hat...can't stop grinning!!

Can't wait to see more videos of this cutie pie! Good job for walking so gar!
Hugs!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Awww thank you all I am so proud of him. Starting his journey so young, and yet he jumps through any hurdles that get in his way. He is such a sweetie and getting fluffier by the day I think!
I will try and remember the warning lmao Hehe and yes I cant help by smile every time i look at him and he looks back at me! Smitten is an understatement I think lol more like wrapped around his little paws! Hopefully this is the start of many more tall walks to go! and we will be right beside him all the way making sure he is supported at all costs!
I am really looking forward to the other pups leaving so we can start training and working on him to get him on the right track as right now hes a live wire lol and nothing stops him from getting what he wants! 😉

He is pretty darn adorable. And a walk across the whole living room is a big accomplishment. He must have been so proud of himself (heck, I'm proud of him!).
Denise
Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise

Same here I admit I was turned into a sobbing mess by the time he got to me! As its HUGE he did it especially as 99% of it he did very proudly and with purpose without us trying to walk it for him! Of course he had some lovely titbits after as well! X

He is the CUTEST! I think great things are in store for him...what an incredible story to share with the humans he will one day inspire. Can't wait to see his story unfold.

Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Happy New year to you 2!!!!
It's a scary thought when we enter this world with our pets but it's also much much easier than I have ever imagined. I know it's a really hard decision to make but you will be so surprised how well your pet adjusts (we are the ones that struggle more I think).
If I can give you one piece of advice watching videos on YouTube as I tell you they show you how the 3 legged pet seems to not just over come it but live a perfectly normal life on 3 legs!
Good luck for next week and if your worried about anything shout! I have photos of every day from the amputation to now as I wanted to see any changes in case something little showed up I could get him back to the vet before it turned into a major problem!
Take care
Dawn xx
