On Tuesday, November 1st, I posted:
Yay! Brandy followed me to the bathroom! 🙂
She looked like she wanted to jump onto the toilet like she used to.
She used to jump onto the toilet, then the counter. lol.
This was posted about 9:15p cst.
I really miss her coming to the bathroom with me. 🙁
She was always with me no matter where I was in the house.
Oh Amanda, thank you so much for posting these photos of your life with Brandy. The love between you and her is very clear. She knew how to pick the right person!!
I've always had a fondness for tabby cats and how each and every hair has different colours in it. It's really one of nature's little miracles. Did Brandy's colour change over time? Or perhaps it was was the lighting.
I got a real kick out of the one with her in a ball cap! So adorable.
It's obvious you have many sweet memories of Brandy and she holds a big place in your heart. Again, I'm so sorry that you went through more than one surgery to rid Brandy's body of this cancer. You sure gave it your all.
I really enjoyed your photos. By the way the videos didn't work for me. It said the page may be visible to an audience I'm not in.

Thank you for sharing with us WOW !What wonderful sweet memories! You did a great job of showcasing your love for each other.
Beautiful pictures of sweet Brandy! She was adorable and a love bug to say the least! She will always be with you, that love never goes away, each of our animals are one of a kind and we have special bonds, there is never a replacement for them, but you can in time ,you will know if and when, you will be able to love another.
They leave a hole in our hearts when they leave and I dont think that hole ever fills back up! Between our humans and fur families we will all have hearts that look like swiss cheese by the time our own journey ends. We were blessed beyond measure to have shared that love! Then I believe we will all be reunited and we can all be whole again.
I'm glad to see you have the dogs, that will help during this time.
We are so sorry this happened to you both!
You both will continue to help others in your experience. A tragedy that is going to make a difference ! You should put all this information on Brandy's blog too, if you haven't already.
The videos did not work for me either, here was my error.

I want to come back later. Just wanted you to know I looked at every single sacred photo and read about every single memory. I have to say, BRANDY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE LOVED, MORE PAMPERED, MORE SPOILED.....AND SHE KNEW IT!!!!
I'm soooo glad you have all of these lovely memories chronicled in this treasured family album!! We are sooooo privileged to have these glimpses into a life well lived and well loved.
She DEFINITELY picked you!!!!! She knew she would get to know what love and joy felt like by having you as her human companion!
Brandy is snuggled in your heart and purring contentedly. Shhh........losten.....I think you can hear her now.
Lots and lots of love

This is so profoundly moving, Amanda. What a truly treasured kitty! Your love for her, your attention to her needs. Ditto Sally, it is a true privilege to bear witness to this very special relationship. She is curled in your heart and always will be. (And she does indeed have the most beautiful nose!)
Sending love,

On November 4th, I posted:
Whew. Today has been a roller coaster of emotions.
I had to take Brandy to the vet this morning.
She has a couple patches of dead skin. (One on her leg and one on her butt.) The one on her leg was looking pretty bad last night, so I called the vet this morning to bring her in. They checked that one and the one on her butt. They gave me some more antibiotics and an antibiotic cream. (She had a slight fever. Her temp was 104.2°F. Cats' normal temperature can be up to 102°F.) They gave me the antibiotic stuff because the dead skin area on her butt does have an infection going on and they also don't want any more infections to happen.
I will have to go back on Monday to get her rechecked.
At the rate her dead skin is going, they may have to go in and cut it out.
(Her dead skin patches are possibly caused nicking a blood vessel because her surgery was quite extensive.)
......
But on a brighter note, I do have some other good news! 🙂
I heard Brandy making noises (I heard her cone knocking around on the wall and/or floor), so I went to check on her. She had walked down the hallway from her room to my room. So, I picked her up and brought her to the living room with me. I put her on the couch and went and got the little stair case that I got for her. A little later, she actually walked down the stair case to get off the couch! Yay! 😀
