Moose has been my heart dog from day one and is truly a gentle giant and a perfect ambassador for his breed. At just under year old when we brought our preemie son home from the hospital he self proclaimed him self baby nanny and has been his constant companion ever since. He is truly the most loving and patient dog I have ever had so you can imagine how devastated we were when he was diagnosed with Osteoscaroma at only 6 yrs old. We are now 4 months post op and he's just finished his 5 rounds of chemo and is living life to the fullest. We're hoping we end up on the better end of statistics but are thankful for every min we have left with him.
Thank you for sharing the backstory to this sweet "Gentle Giant". Moose clearly was born to be eith you and "his" hooman baby.
Yes, we know how devastating the osteo news can be. We also know many dogs defy the odds around here! Statistics just don't mean that much anymore. Queen Nova, a Great Dane beat cancer for five years, Murphy for four. Recently we had a member named Jessee (a very LARGE Great Dane) best it for over two years as a senior.
The most important thing you can do is Be More Dog . BE MORE MOOSE......live in the present t and make each moment the best moment ever. And take lots of pictures and videos.....and share as manh as you would like withnus. We love pictures around here!😎
If you need help, posting a pic, just PM me and I'll be glad to get it posted for you. Can't wait to see this Gentle Giant Nanny💖

PS. Our original Chief Fun Officer Jerry proceeded with amp surgery only after his hoomans met a big three legged dog named MOOSE. they saw how well he did on three......and the rest is history!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Oh Moose, you are so lucky to have such great humans looking out for you. I'm happy that you are feeling so well. Congrats on kicking cancer's butt and getting those chemo sessions out of the way. Now it's time to PAWTY!!!
Kelly thank you for sharing his story. If you'd like to post some photos, this is how adding images works. If you'd like help just holler! And please let us know if there's anything we can help you guys with as time goes on. We send all our love to the pack!
