Hi,
My name is Wrigley, and my mommy said I am a monkeybutt. At first I cried, but then I looked it up while she was sleeping. Now I know the Monkeybutt Federation offers us quadpawds protection from those stooopid Tripawds. I think I could be a federation enforcer — but I don't want to be a pirate. I want to be a bunny, okay????
I am attaching my meanest photo so you will know how tough I am.[Image Can Not Be Found]
Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.

Awwww, those blue ears are all YOU. Wrigley you make a fine monkey dog.
But what is that furry badger thing you're devouring? Surely monkeydogs are too nice to kill their brand new stuffies?

Right now I'm biting everything that moves — and, boy, are my teeth sharp! Mommy says it's a good thing I'm so cute.

Oh MB Wrigley! You are very cute!! I love your blue ears! They are super special. I don't think we've had a blue-eared MBBunny before!!
Sending welcomming nose-pokes,
MBBunny Rita
[Luckily we missed out on the sharp puppy teeth stage with Rita, but when Abby was a shark-toothed puppy, I learned a good trick - wet an old wash cloth or rag and then freeze it. She loved to chew on that - it was cool and soothing to her teeth and made a nice crunchy sound!
He's so adorable. Please give him a hug and some kisses from his MBBunny-aunt Jackie]
I am a Monkeybutt Bunny. I used to live on the beach in Mexico. Now I have it good. Well, mostly good anyway. My mama tells me about my angel big sister, Abby, all the time. Apparently she was like a big deal or something....
He is so incredibly cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He does look like trouble, though. Congratulations; I know you've waited ages for him, and now he's here (as evidenced by the tiny holes in all your clothes). We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Tom's nice (blunt) adult teeth-- I have had it with puppy teeth. So happy for you; feels great to have a pup in the house again, doesn't it?
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
definitely a cutie patootie!!! hope you survive the teething!!!
charon & spirit gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
He is soooo adorable! I have to say, that is a pretty awesome set of ears!
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! A new monkeybuttbaby!!!!! Welcome to our youngest member, Wrigley!!!!
Watch out dummyhead tripawds! He's gonna be our strongest member with those killer shark, ....uh, I mean baby teeth!!!
As the fearless leader of the Monkeydog Federation, (LOOKIT! no one better bring up the screaming monkey toy! I thought it was crying, not screaming...so yes, I cried....with it, not because of it.) I just want you to know that we are very proud you have joined our very fine group. We also welcome the wonderful color of blue bunny ears! It's okay, if you don't want to be a Vampire Pirate....a blue baby bunny is good enough!
Here's our motto, which is very, very simple even for a Monkeybuttbluebabybunny just learning new words:
Monkeydogs Rule!

Congratulations on your new home Wrigley!!! Everyone always loves the puppy breath and the puppy belly, but not the puppy razor sharp teeth....I wonder why?
I think you are chewing on Mr. Hedgehog. That was my first toy too, but my mommy & daddy left it in my crate one day and when they came home it had looked like it snowed. I just tried to de-stuff him because he was a bit too fluffy!
I'm not a MB and I don't have any brothers or sisters, but I wanted to check in anyway because my mommy made me wear stupid blue ears too for Easter this year!
Luv,
Charley

Thanks, you monkeybutts and others!
Jerry, my favorite toy (the one I am trying to kill) must have been defective because it came without stuffing. But I sure do like it! It squeaks when i bite it, and Mommy is just glad that I am biting it and not the hand that feeds me!
MBBunny Rita, Mommy says it is hard to get any cuter than you. (And, Jackie, thank you so much for the wash cloth trick. He loves it and it has kept him away from our arms and fingers for a full 10 minutes!)
Catherine, how is Tom? Have you posted any photos? And, yes, it feels wonderful with Wrigley in the house. He is amazingly sweet and ornery.
Zeus, Mommy says you are a handsome and nice Tripawd and not a bit stooopid!
Oh fearless leader, MBBVP, thanks for letting me be a bunny. I really like being a bunny but my pretty blue ears kinda bug me. Mommy said my head is too little. I want to grow up to be just like you — except for the pirate thing. That's a little scary — not that I'm scared or anything. I'm really brave.
I've made lots of friends since I came home. Here's a picture of me and a few of them. One of them keeps saying, "Oh, no!" He sounds a little like Mommy and Daddy. (about the picture, Mommy really just wanted you to see my face, since the other photo was from the side. I am pretty cute, huh?)

I'm squealing, he's SO cute! Love the Mr. Bill toy. What a riot.
Glad the frozen washcloth trick helped!
Please give him some extra kisses from me and a nose-poke from Rita,
Jackie
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Hey W,
Quad-pug boy Obie here. I LOVE Mr. Bill, he is my BFF!!! (except for Evelyn). I sleep with my first and favorite Mr. Bill every night. Sometimes my grandpa gives me another Mr. Bill, but he is too pretty and smells funny so I chew him up until grandpa throws away the pieces. So far I have killed 4 Bills at grandpa's house.
Here is a picture of me with BFF real Mr. Bill. Then there is a picture of one of the dead Mr. Bills- just in case you were wondering what was inside.
Your pal,
Obie

Stick close to me little fuzz boy and I'll show you how to be brave ..........because I'm never scared or anything either! (Lookit, again - no one better bring up that screaming monkeytoy! Again......I thought it was crying. So, I cried WITH IT, not because of it.)
Okay Wrigley, Here's Plan A:
We are going to use your "cute factor" to our advantage. It'll throw off the tripawds and make 'em think you are cute and cuddly.
AND THEN..................WHAM-O! (Teeheeheeheehee)
Okay? Okay.
