My name is Nikki and my wee man is Jack.
Jack is 3 and is a Jack Russell cross maybe with Westie. He is the best thing that has happened to me. Jack is a rescue and he was 10 months when i got him. He is a front right amputee. Jack was born with a birth defect of the foot and was always injuring it so we thought it best to amputate.
He is now 2 years as a tripawd and it has not slowed him down any. His best friend is a Border Collie and he does his best to keep up. Loves running and swimming but hates bikes.
Jack has a few behaviour issues and really keeps me on my toes but we love him none the less.

Oh what a cutie pie! I'd love to see a bigger picture of Jack!
Welcome you guys!!!
I had a tripawd that also was born with a deformed front left leg. We kept hers on because she got really sick and the vet canceled the amputation and we just never got it taken off after that. I had her for 12 years and she lived large!
Again, welcome!!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Welcome to you and Jack. Looking forward to hearing more about his adventures.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
