Destiny! Where have you been girl? Was getting worried! So glad to know everything is going well! 'Wasn't able for whatever reason able to make video work, but did see the still photo and you look great!!

Destiny, there are numerous suggestions for good nutrition under various banners on this site.

Happy Hannah gets boiled chicken, mixed with some greens of some sort and sometimes SME blueberries. I also add some blueberries sometimes, and turkey. Sometimes some blueberries and sometimes scrambled eggs. I also use some dry dog food.....Halo or EVO or Merrick or Castor and Pollock organic.

I am awful at getting Happy Hannah on a "diet" and I need to do a better job. I try to give her 'healthy' treats but when I give her all she wants all the time.....well, ...not slimming down that way! Good for yo or making sure Destinhis staying fit and healthy. I'm sure you are still giving her enough to get all her nutrie ts. She does use up a lot of energy hopping around on three legs so she still nneds a lot of "fuel"

So glad to know everything is going well. I know Destiny is enjoying every second of being loved ad spoiled by you! Enjoy every single second with each other! You are a great Mom and Destiny is a great dog!:-) :-)

Paw shucks, that's just a photo image that looks like it's supposed to be a video but it doesn't play. oh-my

As for diet, have you checked our Tripawds Nutrition Blog or Eating Healthy Discussion Forum? There's lots of great ideas there. Unfortunately there is no one best food for dogs, their needs are just as individual as humans. For dogs with cancer its highly recommended that a low-carb, high protein diet is given but that also depends on if the dog can handle high protein. Our Nutrition blog has lots of diet ideas that members have written about. And of course your vet is a great resource too, you definitely want to talk to him/her before making any big changes.
