Thanks for the guidelines! Of course I could not see "the tree" cause at my home pc it wasn't there, actually the whole bar above was missing… Now I am at work, logged in quickly and here it is :o)
So, below there is Kosma, at my place, right after the provisional treatment, before the two operations. When back from holidays, will post the recent ones. Keep your fingers crossed for his back leg. Thank you.
Grrrrr, still not working - "image not found". So, it does not work with facebook link. Ok, when back I will start blog then 🙂

Hi again, long time no write... Back from holidays exactly a month ago (Georgia is a hell of a beautiful country, btw).
Kosma is no good 🙁 When I was back it seems that he leg would heal slowly, but some week ago the screw in the plate got loose and in the result the bone underneath got broken again :-(((
Now he has the plate removed, only the screws are left in the bone, and the leg is wrapped in a kind of a fixed construction based on two exterior plates to prevent the bones from moving. I do not visit him that often - the woman who is taking (great) care of him do not want him to get any excitement.
So I took from her another stray dog from a car accident - a 5-month puppy found at the road with a broken leg. I am his foster home now, till he finds a proper one, the puppy is doing great, his leg will get nicely fixed (I hope, on Friday it will be x-rayed for a check).
Not very good news - we have to wait and see how it will progress with Kosma's leg. A specialised post-injury harness is waiting for him, found a Polish producer of such equipment.
Keep your fingers crossed!!!
Paulina
Poor Kosma. It's good he has a loving home where he can take it easy.
Paws and fingers crossed for your new foster dog. We would love to see the harness, keep us posted. And by the way, you are such a great person for caring for these dogs!

Sending pawsitive thoughts out for you and Kosma!
All the best,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Poor Kosma! But we are still sending pawsitive healing thoughts!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Hi, thanks for the supportive thoughts. Visited him on Fiday, and got upset - he's not happy at all after almost two months and a half lying 95% of the day. And the perspectives for the fractured bone to get firm enough are not optimistic - the bone mass is still as the vet calls "bone soup". I don't know, I have the feeling that the wrong decision was taken when I found him...
Yes, that's him on the photo, the weekend when I found him, pre-surgery stay at my place.
Paulina
that sounds terrible, poor puppy to be in pain so long! It sounds like having the amputation will be the best thing for him, so he can have a life again, heal quickly, and get to be a dog again. That is just my opinion and I am not a vet, but this is very hard on a dogs mind to be inactive for so long, to hurt for so long. I am sorry,

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Oh poor Kosma! What is his foster mom &/or the group doing about his situation? It sounds terrible.

Hi, apologies for such a long silence on my side. So, some good news at last - Kosma have had the broken leg x-rayed recently and somehow under the plaster and the exterior metal construction the bone is starting to form one piece again.
Hopefully, when the plaster is removed he will be able to walk on the two left legs and the remaining fixed right one. Keep your finger crossed for him!!!
My foster youngster, will be going to a permanent home next weekend, I hope his new owner will not change her mind in the coming days...
Will miss the little devil, but I hope he will be fine over there in Warsaw.
That's great news!

Thanks for getting back to us, I hope you will tell Kosma's new mom about us so she can keep us updated if she wants.
Thank you for taking such good care of him during a very difficult time in his life.

Kosma has been with somebody else since I fonud him and they are taking good care of him :o) He is not adoptable yet.
I have another foster dog (also found lying next to the road, not by me this time) and have been actively looking for a new home for him for the last two months, he's at my place temporarilyl, I'm too busy to devote him enough time 🙁
