Well Koda celebrated his 6 month ampuversary in style this weekend. He had a main course of cheeseburger (minus pickle and onion) and icecream cone from McDonalds, which was gone quicker than the camera could take the photo:) And then today the sun was shining bright so we took him down to the beach (which we do most weekends during summer) and he had a fantastic time swimming with his Ruff Wear life jacket on and getting free pats from everyone he went up to. He sure knows how to work the tripawdness.
We were lucky to get a quick diagnosis too so we were 6 months post diagnosis last week, and are playing hard and having fun!!!
As I write this I have one very pooped doggy passed out, sound asleep beside me so I think that means he thoroughly enjoyed himself.
Storm and Koda:)
Wow Koda, 6 months is a very special ampuversary indeed. We are so happy for you, and are glad you are doing so well - you deserve it.
I have to admit, we are a bit envious of the fact that you get to play in the water at the beach every weekend. What is the weather like down in Australia right now? Actually we are having a heat wave of sorts here in Michigan this weekend with temps in the 30's.
We would love to see pictures of Koda's special weekend.

Storm and Koda,
Every day with our special companions is a day to celebrate, but reaching a milestone as great as your 6 month ampuversary is definately a reason for PAWRTY!! I have to admit that I loved you celebration, expecially the Ice Cream Cone. To help celebrate vicariously, I will be taking the usual Sunday Morning Drive, there will be special toasts, and thanks for this wonderful milestone.
Enjoy today and all the wonderful ampuversaries that follow,
