Oh, I'm so happy you had a good day with Kobe.
Enjoy every single minute!

Birthday – November 4 2003
Amputation – January 13 2010
Crossed the Bridge – June 2 2011
I'm so happy Kobe is feeling better. I remember thinking the same thing when Fortis started coughing blood. I thought today was the day as well. It's really scary. Is Kobe on Prednisolone? I'm so thankful that Kobe isn't in any pain and that the two of you got to spend a beautiful day together. I pray there are many many more yet to come. Give Kobe a big hug from us.
Fortis and Dad
It's wonderful that you guys got to have such a good day together! Keep enjoying every moment you have with kobe
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Hugs to you all, and some extra petting for Kobe.

I'm so glad that the vet isn't concerned too much. I'm especially glad Kobe is happy!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Whew! Thanks for the update.
Your vet sounds so great. Honest yet encouraging. What a comfort to know that Kobe has such good people on his side who know how to live the way of Dog. That's it; get out, enjoy the day and focus on the moment. In the end, it's all we have, right?
Kobe, keep wagging that tail and loving life. May you stay strong and hoppy!

Maggie was amputated for soft tissue sarcoma 10-20-09
Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
That is a great update from your vet. I like that she isn't an alarmist and can keep you calm about the changes you may deal with. That's great for you and for Kobe.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

I just saw your post. I am so happy to hear that Kobe is doing well today and that the vet said you could enjoy more time with Kobe. How scary for you. Maybe you can take a nap with Kobe nearby. I bet your are exhausted.
Hang in there and spend as much special time as you can.
Nancy and James the poodle
James the poodle had his left front leg amputated due to osteosarcoma on Aug. 4, 2010. He is currently doing chemo.
We're sorry to hear about the scary night/morning, but are so relieved that the vet visit was good. We are keeping all fingers and paws crossed for many more good days for Kobe!
Sending hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

I'm just catching up and wanted to say that I'm so sorry that you're going through this with Kobe. Must be incredibly scary. But it sounds like Kobe is on the rebound and is doing well. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers that Kobe continues to do well and you get to continue to enjoy these very special moments with him.
Sending you lots of golden hugs....
Kami, Mackenzie & Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
I'm a bit late in catching up on this but I'm glad to hear that Kobe is doing okay and that you guys are enjoying the park and your time together. Your Vet sounds a lot like mine, realistic but not negative. Keep on creating those special memories and cherishing every moment.
Warm hugs and tail wags,
Laura and Tai
Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
