HI All,

Three years ago this past week Bella was dx with osteosarcoma.  We had her front leg amputated and did the chemo.  She had/has beat the odds with Cancer.  Unfortunately, the past two weeks she has slowed down.. her body can't take the 3 legs anymore.  Her front leg just can't hold her up anymore.  The last two days we have been using a towel under her to get her in and out of the house.  It's killing me because she is in NO pain, happy, playing with her toys.. eating, drinking.  So, the thought of putting her down is killing me.  This sounds terrible but it almost would be better if she showed some signs of giving up but she is not. I don't know when we will make the decision. But, I wanted to post her just to let everyone know beating the odds is possible.

Wow. Three years is just amazing (she beat that cancer!) although I know that doesn't make her current situation any easier to cope with. Have you consulted with other vets about her situation? Oftentimes something as simple as managing her aches and pains can make her life so much better. I'm hoping it's something that easy to deal with, please let us know OK? It's great to hear from you and know that beating cancer happens.
