Hi everybody! I haven't posted in awhile. Life has been busy and everything has been going so well with Clyde, I've just kind of gotten out of the habit of posting here. But I wanted to share that he had his 18 month ampuversary! He's still doing so well, I'm so lucky. I thank the powers that be every day that he's still happily hopping along. I took him to the vet yesterday and the vet greeted us by saying "its the miracle dog." Indeed he is .
He traveled with me to my mom's house at New Year's and I made him wear a silly hat. I think he kind of liked it. Clyde and I wish everyone here a belated Happy New Year's! I'm sure hoping to see another one with him, but I know how luck I am to have gotten this long.ย

Congratulations!! That is such wonderful news and he's a gorgeous boy.

Tracy & Warrior Angel Zatoichi ๐
Zato was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in October 2016. He triumphed through radiation and amputation with dignity and grace. After living a life of love and happiness, Zatoย earned his angel wings on February 19, 2018.ย Read his storyย here.
Kristin & Clyde, hoppy ampuversary and a big hoppy new year to you as well.
Don't worry about not posting here because the important thing is that you two are out enjoying life to the fullest. We like to think that no news is good news, and it's great to know that Clyde has been having a ball!ย

And some more good news - Clyde had bloodwork done several months ago that was all good except for his thyroid values. I didn't have further testing done at that time and had been feeling guilty about it. So this visit, I told the vet that if his bloodwork came back again with thyroid issues, I wanted to go ahead and have the super special (and expensive) thyroid test done at University of Michigan.ย
Well, my boy's bloodwork came back perfect including thyroid! Yay! Don't know why it was weird a few months ago, and the vet remarked that he "doesn't look like a thyroid dog" but glad to have the confirmation that he's fine. FYI, the general bloodwork we have done every six months or so is to make sure his liver is okay with his daily dose of Rimadyl. Yay Clyde!
