Greeting Tripawd Nation! Today is a grand day. Jackson's 6 month ampuversary is what we're celebrating! Still no new signs of cancer and he's just as happy as could be. Lots of fetch, lots of tug 'o war, lots of wrestling, lots of squeeky-toy-banging against all surfaces, lots of barks at thunder and, soon, fireworks. Ever since about his third ampuversary, we're feeling so lucky to still have our pup around. I mean, without amputation, he'd be freed to the bridge to roam without pain. Well, that damn tumor is out and life is grand. He's a happy guy, living each day to its fullest, tail waggin' at every return home, and licks to great us in the AM and, well, anytime! Love you, buddy! Keep up the hops!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
