Hi Cathy and Hunter!

Holly is also a right rear amp, and has amazed me at how well she adapted after her surgery.  Uncarpeted stairs are her only hangup - she'll go down but not up - nothing else gets in her way!  The next few weeks can be somewhat of a rollercoaster, so be sure to post here if you have questions or need some support.  We're all here for you!  We'll keep all fingers and paws crossed that Hunter's recovery goes smoothly.

Hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Hunter is a beautiful girl, what a lovely face.

I'm so relieved that you got a second opinion and elected to battle the cancer. It's a tough fight but well worth it. I just know that she will amaze you in her ability to overcome adversity, Tai constantly astounded me with her "let's get on with it" attitude. Soon Hunter will be back to her old self and you'll have trouble keeping up.

In the meantime, the next couple of weeks will be tough with lots of ups and downs and lots of questioning if you did the right thing. We're all here for you. Stay positive and give Hunter loads of hugs and kisses from your new Tripawd family.

Laura and Angel Tai

Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.

She's a beauty! That look in her eyes tells me she's going to bounce back quickly and kick cancer's butt!

Let us know how we can help.
