Jackie, sweetie pie 🌻
Lovely to hear from you and Mitch ☺️
Yup ... age is a bummer, we all slow down and get less mobile 😠
Yay for CBD, so glad it makes such a big difference for your sweet pup 🤠 even if sadly it doesn’t make him more willing to get into your pool and swim away but, hey, he can go through any thunderstorm without a blink which is incredible !
You are doing a fabulous job, Jackie, Mitch could not dream of having a better family, Masterchef skills included 👩🏼🍳
You made me laugh histerically with your pictures of Mitch looking miserable before getting in the pool and then swimming out of there like a bat out of hell 🦇💨💨💨💨
I can’t watch your video now, my internet connection is absolute crap at the moment 😡 but I’ll try again tomorrow, can’t wait to see Mitch going for the liver cake in slow motion !!!!
Sending you an avalanche of kisses and a truck load of cuddles to Mitch and the kitties 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹
Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
Thank you Teresa
The CBD has been well worth the investment. We had to raise the dosage a bit but as far as his overall attitude and general comfort, it is good. His back end is getting progressively worse and that is just something that we have to live with. I feel like I am that song One Step Forward, 2 Steps Back Every time we see something good, he will bring me back to earth and remind me that his time is limited. His back end has never been good and although his rads looked good, I think living in a tiny room for 2 years did not do him any justice. He has always had a tough time with his back end sliding out from under him.
We are just going to enjoy the time we have left and try to give him the best 'golden years' time that he has left.. oh, and he is NOT totally spoiled by the way lol..

Thank you all, it really means a lot. I'm trying to upload Mitchell and peanut butter right now, lol. I picked the wrong treat for cbd tonight so we had to wash it down with something, right? And who doesn't LOVE doggie peanutbutterface 😂🤣
Lots of love and sloppy peanutbutterface kisses ❤️❤️

I HAVE to learn to check the forums more thoroughly--during my formative time here, I became very blog oriented. Now I find that I miss things like this!
Just caught up on Mitch's saga....all I can say is You Da Doggie Momma. And I only knew you as an awesome kitty momma...
Sorry to be so far behind the story!
Sending hugs for Mitch--and the whole fam...

Teresa,
He is a gentle soul, always has been. He has always been so happy just to have a family. Since the surgeries and his CBD supplement I actually see "puppy" for the first time. But you know I get worried about the "puppy" stage. He is a cutie though, and he has been the Velcro doggie lately, follows us all over and wags most of the time!
Dawn,
Thank you, you are a pretty awesome Doggie Momma yourself!! Big hugs back, and smooches to Fallon and Maggie please!!
Hugs,

Well, we did it. OH BOY did we do it! 2 weeks ago yesterday marked the 6th Angelversary of my heart dog, Rosie. Last Monday I got a text out of the blue from an acquaintance at 730am. It was a picture of 2 puppies that needed a home. I just sat there staring at the picture and my heart melted. This has my Rosie's pawprints all over it...
Meet Izzy and Bo. They are 4 months old and just the sweetest pups.. The cats are not very happy right now, but Mitchell is doing well with them
That's Izzy with the full mask and Bo with half mask OMG ma, what have you done?!?They have been very sweet with Mitch and are probably showing him more attention than he wants lol, but they are getting him up and around and it has been really great!
Xoxoxoxoxoxo

🎉🎉🎉WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 🎉🎉🎉
I could not be more excited and happier with your new babies 💕🐾🐾💕
They are top model quality, the cutest dogs ever 💓
I ADORE THEM !!!!
And, yes, I want some too (when I am older, for now having a mini cow is enough of a challenge ...)
We need videos to watch Izzy and Bo fool around with Mitch !
What a happy house you've got there (even if some of the kitties may not be so amused for now)
Thrilled for you, sweetie, your Angel sent you the most gorgeous pups any Mom can wish for.
HUGE hugs and HUGE cuddles for your pups 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

Thank you Teresa! They are a lot of fun (and I am feeling my age lol!!) Don't let anyone tell you 2 are easier, they are just double trouble but we are working through it! They are so very smart, it is amazing
Still working on housebreaking, we are down to a couple of accidents a day. They have the sweetest temperament.. just sweet, curious, and active lol.
I will post videos soon, still working on getting the house ready for company
Lots of love,
Jackie and her crazy crew

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!!! THRILLED AND SO HAPPY!!+😂😂😂
Bo and Izzy are THE cutest cutest pups!!!! OMD!!! ADORABLE!!!
And I loooove the role Rosie had in it! The timing DEFINITELY has Rosie's paw all over this happy occasion!!
You have your hands full, that's for sure!! I know Mitch will help raise them and that will help!
Cannot wait to follow these two amd all the mischief they will bestow upon you!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Down to a couple of accidents a day is fantastic, Momma!
Finally you can give the washing machine a break 🤣
I accept two may well be double trouble but you should have seen me a second ago when Miss Mini Cow decided to turn around (on my bed) with an ex duck in her mouth and sat her vast bum on top of my head ... feels like a truck has landed on top of me 🚛🔨🔨🔨🙈
Keep up the good work, sugar, they are totally delightful 💗💗
Hugs and cuddles 😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹

(((((Sally))))) I think I am a crazy woman right about now.. you know it! Mitch mostly observes from afar, lol... but when the puppies run him over every morning at 530 he looks like really? But I see a part of him that enjoys the attention and the "kids" know that Mitch is the old man and they have respect for him which is wonderful.
There is the first time with ice cubes.. there are a lot of "firsts" right now but the ice cubes were hysterical. Today, David told me no more ice cubes in the house.. I texted back why? Because they both tried to get into the bowl of water and ice to hunt the ice
I will post videos soon 🙂 I know you are exhausted but this will at least give you a chuckle!
((((( Teresa!! )))))
OMD .. sat on your face?!!!? You poor thing.. holy crap! She is 150 pounds right now?? OMG you must feel like you were hit by a 🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🚘🚘🚘🚘 💪💪
Right now we are at about 16(Izzy) and 21(Bo) pounds They will never even come close... never whew.. The washer is getting a major rest because the rugs, one by one, have come off the floor for now. This leaves me with a Huck dilemma .. but he is camping out in my room right now so.. I have a little wiggle room. I think the major reason for success is taking them out every hour. I have to learn what their signs are.. I got it once, David got it once.. they are just so fast it's hard to tell.
Crazy woman sending bunches of hugs and tons of love.. wish we were all closer.
