Hi everyone!
I wanted to share my wonderful news! On Sunday, we officially adopted "the coolest tripawd on the planet". I didn't just make that up, it says so on his blog. About a week after Sadie's journey here ended, I was on my facebook page and a tripawds post is on my wall about Ranger's blog. So I click on the link (of course) and there he is, with the incredible story about how he became a tripawd and that he was with a foster family and available for adoption. Jennifer, his foster mom who works for the Santa Cruz SPCA started the blog. Of course, it was love at first sight, and so I e-mailed Jennifer and started a new, wonderful journey. After many e-mails, a detailed application form, and phone conversations with Ranger's foster dad Adam, we arranged for Adam to bring Ranger all the way from Sherman Oaks California to Pahrump, Nevada! Jennifer is in Maine for work, so Adam took pictures and video and sent them to her so that she could see that Ranger would be happy and that he got along well with our other dog Athena (and they act like they've lived together for years!) So, welcome Ranger! Your foster mom did not exaggerate, your are a very well behaved, smart, playful, lovable gentleman (and a really cool dude!) I will continue to post on Rangers blog, so you can visit us there in the near future!
Hugs and sloppy (and boy are they ever sloppy) Ranger and spirit Sadie kisses,
Lisa, Ranger and spirit Sadie
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Lisa, Ranger, Athena, and spirit Sadie,
We could not be happier that you have enlarged your pack and were able to give Ranger what everyone here knows will be an absolutely great home. They can work their way into hour heart so very quickly and notch out their own place in that heart.
To Ranger and the wonderful pack that has adopted the good looking boy.
Spirit Cherry's Dad
Congrats on the new addition to your pack. We are so glad that you and Ranger have found one another. Spirit Sadie must be grinning ear to ear. As everyone else has said, pictures, pictures, pictures. We want to see how "cool" Ranger really is.
All the best
Ginger and her pack
Congratulations to all and welcome to Ranger! It's awesome that he has a new pack to run with. I'll bet Sadie is up at the Bridge jumping for joy about all of this. 🙂
Chuy, showing everyone that Tripawds do everything 3 times better than regular dogs!
Lisa, that is so exciting!! I had read Ranger's blog too and hoped he would find a forever family as special as he was, and now he has!! Looking forward to following his adventures through the site! Congrats on the newest member of your pack!! Give Ranger some extra hugs from us!
Chance, our 9.5 year old Rottie/Shepherd mix was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left front shoulder. In July of 2010, we planned to proceed with the amputation, but lung mets were discovered. Chance reached the Rainbow Bridge October 1, 2010, just a few weeks after his 10th birthday.
