Hard to believe that six months has passed since the scary morning that Tucker went in for his surgery.
With lots of support from all of the folks on this site and two excellent veterinarians (the surgeon and his regular vet), Tucker continues to hop along and loves his life on three legs.
The photo above shows Tuck trying to relax with his buddy Emily snuggling with him. Emily obviously has taken full advantage of the "space" on Tuck's torso where his right leg was formerly.
Many hugs
Linda and Tucker
Oh what a beautiful picture! Tuck does look like my Libby! Way to go Tuck...you are rockin' it. Keep up the good fight!
Amy & Libby
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

These ampuversaries are wonderful to read.. and I am so glad that Tucker has adjusted well and is giving his best buddy a good spot to curl up in!!! I used to always say that belly rubs were so much easier with that leg gone.. but I didn't think about cuddle spaces!!! lol
Christine... with Franklin in her heart♥
Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack... You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
