Hi everyone,
Hope all is well. Leo had an appointment at the vet this morning for x-rays of his lungs. I am excited to report that they are crystal clear! He does have to start a low dose of thyroid medicine because it tested low and he has been putting on weight lately. In two days it will be his six month ampuversary. I am just so happy and relieved right now.
For those of you who don't know Leo's story: He is a 7 year old Doberman. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his front left shoulder on July 25th. His amputation was Setpember 18th. He is not receiving chemo.
I also met a new friend and her greyhound was just diagnosed with osteosarcoma in the same leg as Leo's. Leo may have a new friend. His surgery will be soon but I am sending well wishes her way for his speedy recovery.
Hugs,
Sheri & Leo
Wonderful! Thanks for the update. It's good to hear from you, especially with the news that Leo is doing well.
