Hi Pals,
Yes, its been a long time - but its definitely not my fault!! Mommy has been so busy with studies, that she rarely has time to log in and put some news on for you to read.
Well, can you believe it - after all the tears and panic (not me - my family!!), I am still with you to share my story!! Mom started me on the Mathema drops a while ago and I dont know if it is working, but I am not coughing as often as before and to me and my family, that is good news. I still have a healthy appetite, enjoy my short walks and loves playing in the yard!! (And my favourite - sleeping on the bed with grandma & grandpa!!) I still sometimes forget that I only have 3 legs - like last week when I wanted to chase a cat... and fell flat on my nose....ouch!!
Next week is my 10 month Ampuversary - 10 MONTHS - for a dawg who had no chemo at all!! The vet believes its all the tlc, good and healthy diet and my fighting spirit that contributes to the fact that I am still looking so goodl for a dawg with 3 legs, lung mets and a slight cough!!
I hope you are all well and that, like me, you are fighting the fight and living each day to the fullest!!
Love you lots and lots, licks and hugs,
Dee and mommy xxx

Hoppy 10 month Ampuversary Dee!! Very nice to hear from you. I am happy the drops are easing your cough. That can be an issue with lung mets. Please keep us posted. Buster says hello and he is happy to be alive too!
Sending hugs and kisses xoxo

Hi Everyone! Can you believe its been a month since my last visit?? This is not fair! I hope I havent missed too much?! Well, what has been going on in my life?? Besides the fact that I will be celebrating my 11 month ampuversary next week, YES!!!! HOOOOWWWWWLLLLLLL!!!!!! Things are going very well. I am still very active, being spoilt to bits and just having a good time with my human family. My coughing has picked up a bit - some nights is better than others... all depends... I also still wake grandma & grandpa up at least 3 times a night... But they realised now that there is method to my madness: I am eyeing the neighbour's cat, Gary!! He thinks he is just the guy - walking around at night fighting with our cats and pretending to be the boss of the street... I am sure, that if I still had all 4 legs, I would have caught him by now!! So, at the moment he has a slight advantage - and that is the only reason that he is still around!!
Our days are getting shorter and nights a bit colder... Yes, winter is on its way and I hope that my arthiritis will not get worse over the cold months. Thank goodness I sleep on the bed with grandma & grandpa!! Mommy promised that she will take me to the beach before it gets too cold... I CANT WAIT!!!
Hope you are doing well and keeping your spirits up!!
Love you to bits!
Lots of love and licks,
Dee & Mommy xxx

Hi Dee,
Happy 11 months ! So nice to hear from you...
It is starting to get warm here for Buster and if this is any consolation Buster did not cough as much with the colder weather. I think the heat makes them hyperventilate... so we kinda miss the cold weather!
Enjoy your day at the beach and take lots of pics!

Hi everyone. My mother phoned me at 06:30 this morning. Dee is not looking well. I visited him last night and there was absolutely nothing wrong with him. I gave him lots and lots of TLC - and told him how brave he was, surviving the cancer for 11 months! This morning he wouldnt get up and when he did, he moved very slowly - as if he is in pain. Could it just be the cold, as it is getting chilly in the mornings? My dad is at home today - monitoring Dee's condition. I will keep you updated, hopefully he will bounce back to "normal" again by tomorrow! If not, I am taking him to the vet for a checkup...
Pls keep him in your prayers.
Lots of love, Dee's Mommy
