Looking good Dale! I know you are a happy dude to be back home. Mom will take good care of you for the next few days. Be sure to remind her to rest when you rest.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Dale is a really handsome boy! I am glad he is doing well and keeping still for the most part. I agree with Admin. My Sammy had phantom pain and I really wish I knew about gabapentin before it started. I don't know what the side effects of gabapentin are, I didn't see to much though.
Thanks for showing us how pretty Dale is, and get some sleep while you can

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and such kind words for Dale! He seems to be adapting pretty well on Day 2. He has learned how to comfortably lay down now...which was not very easy for him yesterday. He's still on lots of pain meds and antibiotics.
Thanks to this community we are prepared that there will most likely be a lot of ups and downs over the next couple of weeks...but I'm just amazed out how well he is adapting thus far. Our "furbabies" are just so amazing!
Below is a picture of our Pup...Day 2! Thanks again for all the kind words.
PS...We know we won't truly be initiated into the community until we get a "monkey butt" message for Dale. Ha Ha!
He looks pawesome! Hope his recovery continues to go well.
And, yes, when that little Monkeybutt bunny vampire is on Dale's case he will definitely have "arrived".

Abby adds: "Monkeybutt is probably scared of Dale cuz he looks big and strong. And he's cute too.... Hey Dale! Kisses!!!"
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Hey Dale, where's Roy? Yeah, Dale is a girl's name!!!!

Lookin' a little pale there Dale and I bet you smell too!

Bwhahahahhahhahahhahhahahahha!
Monkeydogs Rule!
Looking good Dale !!!! So glad you are doing ok..
Looking back, I think days 3 - 7 were the hardest for Riley but she was also 10 years old and a bit overweight....
When does the fentenal patch come off?
PS .... you will be sorry you enticed the hairy white vampire mutt bunny with pink ears out of hiding......
quick update on Dale Pup. He had some pretty big milestones today! First tail wag...when his Dad came home from work today! First bathroom (#2) today! He really continues to amaze me! His patch has been off for about 24 hours now and his personality seems to be more like his old self. Every once in a while he cries out...and we have him on the phantom pain medicine...which we are happy we did.
Thanks again for everyones support!
Yay Dale! I am so glad to know he is doing well, tail wags and all 🙂
