I wanted to post and let you know that Buddy Lee has left us today. We know that he is in a better place and he is running and chasing squirrels again and having a grand time but he will be missed so much! He started having seizures where he would stand for about 30 minutes and his eyes shut, we called the vet and he was coming tomorrow to look at him but when we got off the phone he had another little seizure and we knew it was time. It was so hard but it happened in the comfort of his own home and he went peacefully. No more pain just happy times for him.
Thanks to everyone on here for your kind words and all the help you've given to us since last November! Wishing all the best for everyone here...
Much love Buddys Parents - Missy & Greg
Missy & Greg, our hearts go out to you, we are so very sorry to hear this very sad news. Your hearts much ache so much, but know that he is at peace, and will always live on in your hearts and here at Triapwds.
Knowing when the time is "right" is so darn hard, I wish that never had to happen. But our furry kids are so fortunate, aren't they, to have such brave, loving pawrents, pawrents who can be strong enough to make that decision to get them out of pain, and on to another life where they can run free with all of our Tripawd heroes.
Much love and condolences going out to you,
Rene, Jim, Wyatt Ray and Spirit Jerry

I am so sad to hear your news, losing Buddy. I think when they get so bad at the end it makes our decision very clear, but still difficult to say goodbye. I looked back at your first post and saw that he was 9, I am sure you are thankful for those years. Be kind to yourselves as you grieve.
We are sending you a hug and a lick, Gineej & Paris
Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!
Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!
Missy, Greg, and Buddy Spirit,
We want to extend our greatest sympathy at this time over you loss of Buddy. You were extremely great pawrents who fought valiantly for Buddy. I know that we are never ready to lose them and when it does it leaves a canyon of a hole in our lives. I have dedicated a page on my web site for all of us who share this special relationship. In addition to the Rainbow Bride, I have a "Sunday" strip from "For Better or Worse" that has always helped to remind me that "we will never really be without them, for the gifts that they have given us will live with us forever".
May the spirit of Buddy help you through this time and allow you to remember all the wonderful times you shared.

Missy and Greg,
I am so sorry to hear about Buddy. Saying goodbye is so hard to do. Yes I am sure he is chasing squirrels and having a grand time living the pain free life. What a wonderful picture to think of. I hope your wonderful memories replace any sadness.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry about your loss. I know that Buddy's passing has left a big hole in your heart. Please take comfort in the knowledge that you did everything possible you could do for him and made his last nine months pain free and happy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Buddy lived a complete and wonderful live because of you love and care. I hope you soon find peace and comfort in the many happy Buddy memories you have.
Run free at Rainbow Bridge, Buddy!

Thank you so much for your kind words during this time, It has been very hard but we do find peace in knowing that he is in a better place. While we are healing our hearts our concern is now on our other dog Blue to help him through it as well as ourselves. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas on helping blue please let me know. We tried to get him to come and smell Buddy before our vet took him but Blue likes to stay outside when the Dr is here. He is such a character if he see's the Dr pull in the driveway he runs outside and stays. I've been doing a lot of research on how to help the other dog but didn't know if anyone had personal experience they could share with me.
Thanks again for everything, this is a wonderful support group and our thoughts & prayers will be going out to everyone here for happy healthy tripawds everywhere!
Hugs to all... Missy, Greg & Blue

I'm so sorry you're having trouble posting photos. That's the last thing you need right now. Please feel free to private message me, or explain the problems you encounter in the tech support forum. Detailed instructions for embedding photos in forum posts can be found there as well. And the new Tripawds Blogs make it much easier.
If the trouble persists, send us the photo and we'll gladly post it here so everyone can see your beautiful Buddy. Peace.

I tried to post back in January after Buddy's surgery and was told to upload from Photobucket I think because I was using Kodak and that wasn't working they were showing up as red x's. So I did email them and admin posted for me. Once things calm down I will def try again though to post a few pictures and if not I will send them to you. Thank you giving me the information again.
