Bubba was found Monday 11/18/14 on the side of the road in NM by a good samaritan on her way to work. She called my rescue seeing that he had either been hit by a car or thrown from one and had an obvious broken left front leg as well as many abrasions all over his body. I picked him up and took him to the vet where the vet confirmed a nasty break that didn't have the ability to be plated and she recommended an amputation instead. I just picked him up today 11/20/14 and he is doing well. I am nervous about what this week and weekend will bring but am happy to say that he already has an adopter lined up who helped us rescue him. He is a joy and a love bug and whoever abandoned this dog lost a really good dog. They left him to die and he most likely would have if I had not gotten a call about his injuries.
Welcome! We're sorry to hear about bubba, but glad you found us. Your future forum posts will not require moderation.
Please tell Bubba's new family about all the resources available here, including Jerry's Required Reading List and the Tripawds e-books . If he does not get adopted soon, feel free to start a new topic in the Tripawd Rescue Forum.
