8 months today! It's funny, each month it gets a little bit harder to remember to celebrate I am just so used to him on 3 legs, its like that horrible 1-3 months never even happened
I have some new pictures for you guys! Got a new camera so I've been snapping pics like crazy. We've also gotten SLAMMED with snow this year (yuck!). Barret hates the snow. I hate shoveling a potty patch in the snow.. I guess it evens out, LOL
Barret was diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma May 16, 2013. Front left leg/scapula/pectoral muscle was amputated on June 11, 2013 and we've never looked back. Follow our story on http://barret.t.....pawds.com/ and read my column on That Pet Blog
EIGHT? WOWWWWW!
Hoppy Ampuversary Barret with the Big Beautiful Eyes! I hope you have a wonderful day staying home snuggling and keeping warm. Sorry about all that snow. Eeew.
Isn't it great when you get to the point that you only think of him as a three-legged dog? Seems like that will never happen when the spare limb first goes away but as you've seen, you do get there. Yay!
Congratulations you two!

Nice job Barrett! Hoppy Ampuversary! You are a beautiful subject for your mommy's new camera. Congrats!
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Happy, Hoppy anniversary!! What a cutie he is!! I can relate to the snow, although I think you have a bit more than I do at the moment.....and having to shovel a potty area, lol !! Thankfully, I only have to do that if we get more than a foot of snow!
Enjoy your day, more snow possibly on it's way for us on the east coast .....!!
Happy thoughts.....
Bonnie & Polly
Thanks!
Yeah Bonnie - the weather guys can't figure out if it'll be 6 inches or 16 inches on Thursday.... Either way, I am soo over it!

Hoppy Ampuversary, Barrett. You are a star!
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
EIGHT MONTHS?? GREAT JOB BARRET and MOM!
Just let all that snow see Barrett's pictures...and it will melt! Yes, melt! His pictures melt our hearts so it has to work on snow too, right??
I love these pictures Heather. How could you not love a picture of Barret? But I really like the black and whies...very "artsy crafty"!
HAPPY EIGHT MONTH AMPUVERSARY BARRET! Keep 'em coming sweet boy!
Love to all!
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Eight months?!? WOW! Congrats! What a great milestone and what gorgeous photos!!! He's so photogenic!
Happy happy day!!!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Happy Ampuversary Barret!!
Heather- those are great pictures, I love the black and white!

Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
