The story starts off with someone leaving a gate open and it never ends. Baron got out of the yard and was hit by a truck on a busy highway. The speed on that road is 55 mph. I was not there the day of the accident but I did get a phone call telling me what happened. I rushed to the local vet to see my buddy. The vet could not do anything for Baron so he needed to be rushed to the University for diagnosis. The bad news was that Baron would need to have one leg amputated and the other leg needed a external fixator. Baron also needed close supervision for the next months for a deep wound on his leg. Never seeing a tri-pawd before so the territory was unknown. We took care of Baron for the next 8 months until his fracture healed. So basically carrying him every where he needed to go, when you lose a leg and the other is broken it is really hard to get around. Baron has come a far was since his accident and as you will see, he goes on, courage, brave, whatever it is, give me some too.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
OH MY DOG!
That really pulled at my heart! In the beginning when he was crying I had to fast forward, it was too upsetting. BUT Baron is amazing!
Bless you and your family. And what a spectacular recovery!
Way to go Baron!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Great video! You guys are awesome pawrents. It is great to see how Baron thrived. He (and you) are lucky he was small enough to carry. That made it a little easier that a large dog would have had it.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

awesome video! I was sad he was crying, and when he was trying to walk with the cast I was unconsiously pushing my leg forward to help him. He did have an epic journey! Great to see the end result 🙂
