The above link is to an Instagram photo, since for the life of me I can’t figure out how to put photos on here! (maybe someone can assist me)
Sophie has been doing great post-surgery, even with the scary news that five chemo sessions were recommended by her oncologist after the amputation of her hind leg.
Her spirit AMAZES me. She lifts my mood with her happy face and joy of life. Sophie is a 9 year old corgi who had an inoperable fast growing tumor on her rear leg. After reaching out to a friend who owns a three legged dog (and who introduced me to the tripawd community) I nervously went ahead with the amputation. It was the best decision of the summer. I wanted this community to know that your availability and support has meant much to me. if I could only figure out a way to post her photo you’d see there’s a big smile on Sophie’s face too.
As soon as I saw the title of this thread I started smiling!! So thrilled to hear how well she is doing,👍 And her instgram photo is the cutest thing ever!!! She is absolutely adorable!!Thanks for the wonderful update..
Here's a link to add photos. adding images . Hope that helps. Can't wait to see more photos!
Hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Aww I love love love this! Thank you. It's so good to know that Sophie is rockin life on 3! We don't get too many Corgi's joining us, and I think a lot of that has to do with old-school beliefs by vets that long-bodied dogs can't ever make good Tripawds. Each case is different though, and each Corgi should be evaluated on their own merits. We've seen here thanks to you that not every Corgi is a bad candidate. YAY! Thank you for taking the time to share and update.
Instagram can be tricky to post images directly here, but we can see with your link. The nice part about uploading photos here or in a Tripawds blog is that they will be here forever, whereas social media channels are constantly changing their algorithms and lots of photos tend to disappear over time.
This is how adding images to the Forums works.
- Upload pics to a photo sharing site like imgur.com or your own Tripawds blog (https://tripawd...../supporter). Pictures and video have to be hosted (live) somewhere other than in the forums.
- Once the photo is uploaded somewhere, right click and copy the Image URL or just copy the image if you’re on a phone
- Return to your Tripawds Forum post and paste the image URL (or the image itself) in your post. It should automatically appear.
If you’d like help figuring out the process let me know!
