Love these Lacey updates and photos, she is just so beautiful. You guys have so much going on over there, I can't imagine trying to keep up with your pack. Rodeos? COOL!
It could be that Lacey is getting to be "that age", aka terrible twos. I know that with German Shepherds when they hit about 18 months they get very big for their britches and our Wyatt Ray was no exception. It takes some doing to keep them trained so they're good guard dogs but not aggressive with the right people, so if you need any help there I recommend visiting my friend Sarah Wilson's dog training site, MySmartPuppy.com. She has excellent suggestions and forums that are staffed with professional trainers.
In the meantime, congrats on your new addition. Lacey and Bandi are going to have so much fun!

Thank you guys! Lacey is definitely one of a kind!
We also thought that maybe she feels vulnerable tied up? I'm not sure it was such an all of sudden thing! She is still as friendly as can be when she's loose, we rally are t sure but I will definitely check out that link!
Lacey absolutely LOVES Bandi, she gets along with our other dogs too but she never really plays rough with them since having her leg amputated. But with Bandi, because she's smaller than her (for now) she goes NUTS. The first few days we had Bandi we'd just sit outside and watch them go crazy. It was so nice to see her really enjoy playing again! Not that she hasn't at all but you could always tell she was more cautious playing with our other dogs! Here are a few more pics
