Sorry Lili,,computer just cuts off any darn time it wants! Anyway she is getting better and you are already seeing it. I mean, she ate poor Peter's bone!
And BANJO-- you are still real early in recovering and I think most here would tell you to keep Banjo on meds for awhile. Sweet picture of Banjo
Lots of love and canals full of encouragement, Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Banjo: my Jackson went cold turkey on tramadol on day 12, I think. It was great! His sparkle started to come back with that change. Just marvelous!
You're doing great! Hang in there! Rest up, all you puppies and eat your veggies!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Hi, all! Lili has really seemed to turn a corner in the past week. The tail is waggier, the kisses are more abundant, and she is racing around with her sibling dog Peter (she's faster down the stairs! But he is faster going up...). Staples are gone now, and as the vet suggested, she just LOVES having her stump rubbed. She finally picked up one of her old toys (ignored for weeks) and squeaked away. I gave her a new toy, which she LOVED and refused to share with Peter. I'm so proud of her.
Still figuring out the next steps, but we have a new determination now that she seems to be doing so well.
That is wonderful!!!!Lili feels better, momma feels better and Peter gets to play with toys too! It's soooooo joyous when you see the bliss come back in their lives!
It will continue to get better so enjoy the ride!
You are doing a great job so give yourself a big bowl of ice cream.......forget the bowl, just ear it straight out of the container!!
We're doing a happy dance for you! Sally and Happy Hannah
