Wow, what a great article. Rocky is certainly a fighter. My boy fortis also had a partial tear of the ACL in his knee just weeks after his amputation. I thought that was the end for him but it has been almost 9 months now and although he has never regained full mobility he certainly wasn't done living. What a beautiful and uplifting story. Very informative as well. Thanks for sharing.

Great article! Chloe too had a "curable" cancer with amputation, she had a soft tissue sarcoma. She had her amputation in the LA area and her vet/surgeon did a great job!

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
