Congrats to both of you! Jackson you are a handsome dog! way to go- 17 months is no small feat and a PhD? Omg you two have been pretty busy I am sure. It's making me tired thinking about it.
I'm sure you will do well in the job search, but sometimes it is a waiting game... Waiting for the right offer. Enjoy this time of great achievements and celebrate the joy of each other in this moment and you will have accomplished the most important task in life.
Again congrats to you Jackson and Dr. Katy!
Hey well the cap and gown is just icing on the cake, you made it, that's what counts! You're gonna be an awesome researcher no matter where you go. Still focusing on the frog fungus? (

Sorry I'm late to the congrats pawty...looks like everyone else has already claimed the best smileys and superlatives. I'll just say a hearty Ditto. Jackson, thanks for inspiring us -- so glad you're beating the odds, you handsome guy!
And way to go Katy! Er, Dr. Katy. What is your Ph.D in, btw? No matter what it is, that's quite a feat -- good for you!
Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
Yeahhhhh Jackson!!!!!!!!! We love you buddy and are so happy to be on this journey with you!!!!!!! You totally rock!!!!

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
