"Miss Joy" is my current companion, an "old soul" who is sweet, wise, gentle, kind, loving, and beautifully embodies her name.
I've always enjoyed the company of at least one "angel with fur" as unconditional companion, friend, healer, teacher, and loyal guardian, no matter what life has brought. They've awakened my heart, compassion, inter(personal) communication and healing gifts, creativity, connection with nature, Spirit, belief in the inherent goodness of life, and the power of Love, free will, and possibility.
By previous standards, like me, Miss Joy should have left this world some time ago, yet here she is, still interested and engaged in life and happy to be here.
They are so much more than we've been taught to believe. I can't imagine life without a friend(s) like this. Can you?
