Bio:

I live alone in remote NH with my Akita, Kusu and long haired Chinook, Kalitan. We've dog sledded for many years, recreationally. As a photographer I travel and have a great dog sitter. A couple of weeks ago, Kusu developed osteosarcoma and we've been to a great oncologist who said amputation and chemo would be the route. He also prescribed Turkey Tail mushrooms. I am anxious and her limp is worse.
I see losing her front right leg as a new challenge for her well being, and I want to be the best person I can be for her. As I said to the Dr, I do depend on my dogs more than people.
