Hi my name is lorie I live in Memphis,Tennessee my dog Rusty became lame 5 weeks ago thought it was a fracture of his back leg but it wouldn't heal so we went back had xrays done of leg vet said bone cancer. We were devastated and couldn't believe this was happening to him.He is a wonderful dog with 3 dog sisters 1 cat brother and a sister and 2 human brothers that love him very much and his human parents. We went today for xray of lungs he had several bronchial spots but vet said dont think it is Metastasis in lung. Do need to amputate to give better quality life with no stamp of expiration. He is in good health. So we will be doing the amputation in 7-10 days when money is raised hopefully sooner. We love our big boy as our child. Praying for the pain to be gone after amp. We need him in our lives longer than 7 years.
