Bio:

Murphy's previous owners could not afford to get her badly mangled leg fixed after she fell of of their deck, so we took her in. At the recommendation of 2 specialist surgeons, we decided to have her leg amputated as correction was very complicated and would necessitate multiple surgeries, an external fixator, and months of recovery time. At a few months old, Murphy had her leg amputated and is now happily adjusting to her new foster life with her big sister Heidi, the rescue GSD, and us!
