Hi, I'm Stacey, Pinot's mom. Pinot is a 4-year old Chi mix or our Irish dog as we like to call her - because she's a little bit o'chi, a touch o'min pin and a dash o'terrier and a whole lot o'personality! We adopted her 3 years ago (she's 4 now) and at that time she was 2 months post-op; we didn't know our baby when she had 4 legs, although we did see pictures of her. According to Brooke's Legacy (shelter we adopted her from) Pinot sustained a "dislocation" while living with what we believe was her original owner at the time - and she never rec'd medical treatment. As a result of the neglect, the paw lost blood supply and that eventually led to the paw becoming non-functional.
Pinot is a happy, bouncy, loving little snuggle bug. She loves to play, run and take long walks and give kisses; she's our pride and joy and we can't imagine life without her. We are forever changed because of her and for the better. Her resiliency and unconditional love and trust are gifts that we will forever cherish.
