Well, I'll throw in our waiting-for-biopsy-results story........we had to wait 5 weeks!!!! Talk about stressful! Their explanation was that they had to do "special stains" to get a diagnosis, they were having trouble making a decision. Now, I work in a hospital lab, so I know a little about special stains for histology/pathology testing. It DOES NOT TAKE WEEKS to get these results. When they finally called me, they said "yes, it's osteosarcoma". I have my doubts; I always wondered if they lost his leg at some point, and that was the reason for the delay. The first biopsy we had done before the amp surg came back "sarcoma, fibrous variety". In my heart, that's what I think he had, but I guess we'll never know - nor does it really matter, I guess. So, his chemo was delayed by 5 weeks.
Good luck, with your upcoming events, Be More Dog , enjoy your wedding and try not to sweat the other stuff.
