Hello everyone

We got the pain meds! Thank goodness! She was definitely showing some signs of pain this morning but is feeling much better now that she has the pills. I knew something was off when the surgeon wrote on the report to give her the pain meds, but the vet tech didn’t know if we should have them of not. She didn’t give them to us last night but as soon as we spoke to the vet this morning they said to come get them(thankfully the vet office if just right across the street from our neighborhood). I’m just so so so glad we have the pills, they are helping her a lot! 😊❤️🐶

Excellent! As long as you keep on schedule and stay ahead of the pain you’ll see a difference. Good job!

Oh good- I'm glad Snookie is resting comfortably now!

Good job getting the meds!  Don't worry about calling the vet if you have any concerns- that's what they are there for.

For a couple years it seemed like one or the other of the Pug Girls where in the middle of some medical crisis or another- I swear when I would call the Vet's office they didn't have to ask who it was- they knew my voice big-grin

Hello everyone!

Happy new year! I hope you are all having a great year so far!

I just thought I would update everyone! Snookie is doing really well! Today was her last day of antibiotics and we have been cutting back on the pain pills because she has been acting like she is not in pain. She’s been so happy and in such a good mood lately, I was thinking it was because she was on pain meds but as we have been cutting back a little bit it has not changed. Her check up is next week and I guess we will talk to the vets about where to go from here then. We have changed her diet and she’s on food and vitamins/supplements that I have read can help with cancer. The vets think they got all the cancer but could not say if it was already spread microscopically. I hope the change of diet will help if it has spread.

Thank you all again for your help! It has been SO helpful and appreciated! ❤️❤️

Good going sweet Snookie. I laughed because your mama thinks you were happy because you were on pain meds! Ahhh, maybe, but I suspect you're happy because you love life and now feel good enough to live life to the max. clap Happy New Year - you're off to a great start.

Hugs,
