Shari, remember that their dog is not Hrafi. Yes, there is always the odds that a cancer can spread. But this is one of those times in life when a leap of faith is required no matter what we decide. Now that I think about it, every day really is a leap of faith, all we can do is put one foot in front of the other, enjoy every moment together, and hope for the best. Dogs are the best teachers of this very important lesson.
