Hi Brenda,

Cost was a huge factor for us too, when it came to treating Roxy's cancer.  I couldn't spend the money on chemo (and really didn't want to put her through it anyway), but I just felt that I needed to do something to feel like I was helping her fight.  So after reading about it some, I chose to go the holistic route.  We went with Dr. Charles Loops.  He's located in North Carolina, I'm in Indiana.  It says on his website that 95% of his business is consultations over the phone, so location isn't an issue.  He does a free five minute consultation where he tells you if he thinks he can help and gives you info.  If you decide to proceed, his initial full consultation is a little pricey, about $300 if I remember correctly.  But after that I spent about $250 on her entire treatment for the entire last year.  It's very reasonably priced.  Of course I have no idea if it is the holistic remedies that have kept Roxy going so long, there's no way to know that.  But I like to think it has something to do with it.  It's been a little over a year since Roxy's amputation.  I have to admit, she's not an osteo patient, she has Mast Cell cancer.  But if it is something that sounds like it would be good for your family and Peyton, then talking to him for five minutes couldn't hurt.

Best wishes for your and Peyton's future!

Leslie
