WOOF!!! WOOF!!! LUKE IS HOME AND ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY!!! I know you are so relieved!!
Now try and get some rest while he's zonked out.
Use any yummy food he'll eat to get the pills down, even if it's just enough to coat the tummy. Drinking and peeing are more important than eating and pooping at this point. And peeing in the bed may happen until he gets his sea legs.
Give that druggy boy a smooch for is😊
Hugs

YAY LUKE! Wonderful news! Enjoy getting spoiled, you've earned it. Glad to hear that you've got some good painkillers. They might make you see pink elephants, but you won't be hurting and that's what counts.
As for giving pills, be sure to follow our pill taking tips and strategies and you should see some success. See:

Yah luke, welcome home! Lots of rest and loving ❤
The pills can be a challenge the injectable antibiotics were a life saver with our cat moe. Hopfully with some good stinky treats you can tempt him.
Keep us posted and get some rest.
Big hugs!
Hugs ❤ Bev, nurse Moe cat, Autumn's Angel Roane & Angel dog Gypsy 🐾
My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.
There are three ways I can get Brownie to take pills. Baby food, non-fat plain yogurt, or cottage cheese. I just put it on a spoon and he licks it right up and wants more.
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!
