Ueah, I agree! Slow healing is still healing!! Anytime surgery can be avoided that's a good thing!

Btw..LOOOOOVE the adorable picture!! Meg is so darn cute!

Hopefully our second last update for this saga - in the three days since our last vet visit, the ulcer has shrunk by 20% (I would've said 25-30%, but whatever doc . Overall he seemed indifferent about this great amount of healing in a small time but I'm stoked. Ever since we stopped using the atropine, under vets advisement, it seems like its been healing quickly. They offered to make up some blood serum for eye drops to help get antibodies etc into the eye, which I was happy with until I heard the hair clippers going - just as her amputation site hair is almost grown back, she has to grow back neck hair . Well worth it if it gets her better though!
Next vet trip in 6 days - keep healing Meggymoo
I'm stoked too, that's awesome! Been following your saga with Meg and am really thrilled things are much better. Fur grows back, whatever it takes to get the healing going on. Give her a smooch from us!

In my experience if it is healing on it's own (well, lots of meds but no surgery) then it is cause to be STOKED!
Keep it up little Meggymoo!
