So glad that Sammy got a good report from Dr. Pam! And glad you are both getting some much needed rest. Whew!

So glad to see the good results. We've been out of town, so when I saw the topic, my heart stopped. So sorry you had such a fright, but so thankful all will be well. Hang in there! This journey ain't for sissies.

Good grief....I get on here so seldom anymore, and had a few seconds before running out to an appointment and when I saw the title I damn near expired.  Because of being so absent for one reason and another, there are a lot of new names and sweet tripawds that I don't know, but when I saw Sammy's name, well, scared me....I want you to know I was late to the appointment cuz I was NOT leaving this house til I found out.....and like the others, weird to be thankful for different pains but such good news, such good good news.....now fix Sammy something yummy in case he gets the munchies...oh wait, not that kind of pain relief was it.....

I am so sorry for the scare, I was scared too!  You guys are all so wonderful, I was panicking and this was the one place I knew I could call on help and get it, and concern, and everything needed to keep the faith.  Thank you all so much 🙂

Brett, I am (once again) so grateful to have the harness you gave us from Fortis, my neighbor is an old guy, but between him holding Sammy's front handle and me holding his back handle from the harness, we were able to carry his 102 lbs through the house and lift him into the car.  Every time he wears it, I send a prayer up to Fortis of thanks and ask him if he would mind bolstering us for a moment for strength.  To me he was a sweet and strong warrior, and it feels like a shield.

Team Tripawd power rocks!!

Hugs from the almost better Sammy and me.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us.  Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.

Thank you Elizabeth. Although I wish Sammy didn't need it, knowing that he is benefiting from the use of Fortis' harness means the world to me.  Just seeing Fortis' name mentioned here starts the tears. I'm so thrilled that Sammy is doing better and pray he continues to beat the odds for a long long time. Give the big boy a hug smile

Hug given, hug recieved 🙂

Yep, he is a big BIG furry boy, I know because my back is still twinging from Sunday!  oh-mybig-grin  He is running today and doing sooooo well.  I had to put the kibash on it, made me sad, but I don't want him re-hurting himself while playing with Titan and running up and down our little empire.

I'm just catching up - am sooo glad all is well with Sammy!  Please give your great big boy a great big hug from us - Holly and Zuzu are also sending big, wet kisses!  And Holly, of course, is demanding some cheese to celebrate.  Some things never change. smiley

Hugs,

Holly, Zuzu and Susan

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

KaCee,

You are a sweetie but NO, don't shred it!  Fighting cancer is an expensive journey, it isn't much for money, but use it towards your next rescue.  We are almost through our bottles that you sent and I know they continue to keep Sammy and Titan healthy, they weren't cheap vitamins!  Thank you for them and let me at least pay the postage please.

There was someone here who sent money to me once, even though I refused, it helped me take care of my golden girl for a little longer and I so appreciated it.  One of these days that I don't look forward to I will be passing things on.  Until then, I can handle the postage, please let me make that part of the end of Riley's journey less burdensome.

Super Sammy Hugs from us both 🙂

Oh Elizabeth!  I haven't logged on in a long time and when I saw the title of your post, I almost had a heart attack.  I am SO glad that Sammy is fine, and recovering comfortably.  WHEW!  I know that every health crisis makes us think the worst.  But I am so glad that Sammy's news is good.

Nova and I will chill out to some good stoner music tonight in Sammy's honor....
