Oh gosh, not sure how I missed these last couple of posts and videos....but caught up now and Caroline looks great!!!!!
Caroline has adapted to her three legged gait perfectly. She flows seemingly effort from one step to the next. She really is a beautiful sight to behold. She exudes gentleness and sweetness, but a whole lot of determination too!
Hugs

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Well, here we are five months after amputation, and Caroline is doing great.
I lift her into bed and into the car so she doesn't overstress her remaining rear leg, but she loves to run at the park. We do that every other day.
In other great news, our vet place is one of the sites for the experimental vaccine (not to prevent cancer, but to increase immune system response to it). She'll get the second of the two shots tomorrow.

Also, we've done 5 chemos, one more to go.
Fingers crossed, but she is doing great so far.
Hey welcome back, it's so good to see you and Caroline the Adventure Tripawd! What a joy to see her doing all those things she loves. Glad she doesn't like sushi though 😉
This is what it's all about isn't it?! That extra bonus time in the sun, on the trail, just loving life together again.
Thanks for letting us know she's participating in the Yale Vaccine. We've been talking about it recently so I'll add her story to this topic in order for others to see how members' dogs did on it.
Best wishes to you both for more good times ahead. Keep us posted and give her extra smooches from all of us
Caroline, you have me grinning g ear to ear!! Looooove thos video! She is so happy and so fit! Love jove she gave herself little breaks from her beach jog to stop and take in the great scents the beach has to offer. And the sky is a beauiful backdrop for thos beautiful dog.
Keep on keeping on sweet girl!
