I just saw a beautiful picture of Sampson too. Not sure what you saw - not sure I want to know. But Sampson looks great! Glad he is home and doing well!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
No, I have not lost my mind (what little bit there was left)! The picture JUST NOW showed up on her post on my tavlet!!!!! Hesterday there was NO icture in my screen.....just the word Sampson highlighted in red like all links are!
I tapped the ""Sampson link" and it took me to a page showing a man in briefs.....a very happy man ifnyiu get my drift......And it had the "F" word and I hightailed out of there!!
Yes, the tavlet world is very different!
This morning the picture of handsome Sampson was here.....This morning the word Sampson is no longer in red and it does not show up as a link!!! It was NOT on my screen yesterday and Sampson was in red!!! And I did NOT imagine a happy man in briefs....nor would I want to! I really would like to know what happened though. Why things were different on my tavlet. That is too spooky!

One cannot lose what's already lost.

Yes, we embedded the photo.

When viewing it on imgur we clicked the Next button and saw the photo you describe, so we embedded it here to avoid any other click-happy folks from inadvertently viewing less than desirable content.

SAMPSON!!! You are gorgeous and to come home so very quickly means you are made of tougher stuff! So nice to see you home and rockin' the t-shirt! As exhausting as the first few weeks will be, please remember that here at TriPawds Nation, we demand pictures and updates:) You know, between all the sleep you will get;) (Btw, was surgery done at UGA?)
Huge hugs, best wishes, and PyrPaws all around...
Sorry to hear the news about your boy Sampson. He sure is handsome
There is a lot of people here that have been through and know the pain your feeling now and can add some incite to your journey. Some of us have written blogs on this site detailing our progress, milestones and fails, and the forums offer info in all directions. sounds like you are on the right track. Keep an eye out for the "random rear leg quick scratch"... as i called it, one day our girl Mya suddenly sat down and lifted her rear leg then raked it down her incision side, { just had an itch!!} but she opened up her wound a little. It bothered her for a few weeks after that. Keeping the room a little on the cool side seemed to help her, when she started to pant it aggravated her stitches. I used an ice pack for the first few days { in short intervals with a towel between the ice and her skin } helped with the swelling. If he's on pain meds they will likely cause constipation, we used canned pumpkin { pure pumpkin not spiced pie filling } mixed with her food. and stay ahead of the pain with the meds don't wait till he is hurt'n. we didn't have a chance to get into a diet for cancer but there is a lot of good that will come from getting all the crap out of the food they / we eat. Recently we switched Mya to canned food { gradually } so we didn't upset her stomach more than it already was. That has dramatically improved her constipation issues. But be ware ... she won't even look at a kibble now, "get that slop away from me".
Don't want to sound like a preacher for this stuff but research CBD { cannabinoid product } and Artemisinin { herb derived from sweet worm wood } we are giving them both to our dogs with no ill affects to date.
Our thoughts and tail wags are coming your way...
